Change We Measure
Every camper leaves with a story. We also track what happens underneath it, asking the same questions before and after camp, so the transformation isn’t just something we hope for. It’s something we can show you.

Outcomes of Our Impact
BYU Positive Psychology Lab Survey Results
In 2025 alone, Summit Journeys led 1,750 youth on 102 transformational outdoor adventure trips and managed 9 summer camps. Additionally, because many of the youth we serve have disadvantaged backgrounds, Summit Journeys subsidizes many of our adventure experiences to ensure these youth can benefit from our character-building experiences.

Build Character
Strengthen Wellbeing
Develope Leadership
We leverage the power of adventure as interventions to enable our three intended outcomes on every adventure.
We also focus on strengthening youth’s adventure mindset, self-efficacy, self-determination, resilience, and leadership skills.
Parent Testimonials
“Summit Leadership Adventure has been a great confidence booster for my sons. One son has attended four times, and the other twice. The oldest was able to right a capsized sailboat on his own. The joy and excitement of sharing that he was able to do that on his own gave him so much confidence. Summit Adventures can provide these amazing experiences that my family couldn’t do on our own. This camp has helped cement journal writing habits, goal setting, and keeping mentality. Plus, it is so very fun. I love the lesson takeaways, the adventure, and friendships my boys enjoy at camp and after. It is by far their very favorite camp!”
